Meet the Roll Art JJ Team

Larry Deeder, Owner & Professor

Larry is an IBJJF certified black belt instructor, and a founding partner of RAJJ. He is also an IBJJF PANs Champion, and was formerly a founding partner of the highly successful Honor Roll BJJ Academy located in Los Angeles, California. Larry has been coaching kids & adults for over a decade.
Sergio Valbuena, Owner & Professor

Sergio is a black belt instructor, and a founding partner of RAJJ. He has been training and coaching jiu-jitsu since 2011. Prior to launching RAJJ, he was the general manager for Carlson Gracie Miami and most recently was the lead instructor at the Academy of Martial Arts in Monument, CO. Sergio brings his impressive Jiu-Jitsu lineage and exceptional coaching skills to RAJJ.
Levi Thurston, Owner & Administrator

Levi is a blue belt and is one of the founding partners of RAJJ. Levi will be running the day to day business operations of the academy. He began career as an Army Veteran stationed at Fort Hood. After an honorable discharge he started Locally owned Raptor Roofing & Restoration, LLC utilizing his degrees in project management and marketing.
